I always think of “About Me’s” as something that describes what a person thinks they represent or what they would like to represent. So what do we represent? I believe much of what we choose to make important or significant in our lives is what we will eventually represent. With that being said:
We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and that the same gospel that He taught in biblical times is on the earth today. There are modern day prophets who receive revelation on our behalf. We are children of a loving Heavenly Father who has a plan for each of us that includes being together forever as families.
We love sports. Baseball, football, hockey, basketball, volleyball, spikeball, you name it, we will play it.
We (mostly me) love to explore the great outdoors. I am from Colorado and Jon is from California so we have the best of both worlds as far as the outdoors go.
We both have a piece of our hearts in Rexburg, Idaho. Not just because that is where we fell madly in love, but because so much of our growth and experience came from our time at BYU-Idaho.
We love our moms and dads… And our brothers and sisters. All 11 of them.
We love meeting new people and think there is so much that can be learned from getting to know someone new.
